Where is FLX Pop-Up Picnics located?


Our company is established in beautiful Canandaigua, in Upstate New York. We are willing to travel throughout the Finger Lakes to create an event for you.
(A travel fee for any FLX Pop-Up Picnic beyond 10 miles outside of 14424 will be included).

Where can I have a FLX Pop-Up Picnic Luxury Picnic?


There are so many locations to choose from! From parks to museums, to your own backyard, FLX Pop-Up Picnics will provide a list of locations to choose from, we will work together to find the perfect setting for your custom picnic.


Can I bring my own food?


Absolutely! Please feel free to bring in your own culinary dishes to share. If this is not an option for you, FLX Pop-Up Picnics is ready to make your life easier by providing you with a list of local vendors that will cater to your event.


Can you provide alcohol?


Unfortunately, we do not have our liquor license and will not be able to provide alcoholic libations. If you choose to bring your own alcohol, we ask that you abide by the rules provided by the park or venue and assume responsibility for the actions that ensue. FLX Pop-Up Picnics will provide a custom flavor water pitcher with each picnic for you to enjoy!  

 

What are Add-Ons?


Add-Ons are a list of additional experiences that you can add to your picnic. From games to movie screens, custom floral arrangements to local delicacies, FLX Pop-Up Picnics wants you to have limitless opportunities to add to the already exciting experience and make it as hassle free as possible.


What happens if it rains?


Weather is always a factor in upstate NY! If there is inclement weather in the forecast the day of your outdoor event, we have options. FLX Pop-Up Picnics will work with you to find an alternate location where you and your guests can stay nice and dry. If you had your heart set on the outdoor location that was originally chosen, FLX Pop-Up Picnics will grant a 90 day gratis to reschedule your outdoor event. If there is weather in the forecast that hints at wind, rain, or other attributes that can cause damage to FLX Pop-Up Picnics inventory, we have the right to cancel and again, work with you to find the perfect location or reschedule to another date.

What happens after I request to book with FLX Pop~ Up Picnics?


FLX Pop-Up Picnics will contact you within 48 hours of receiving your request to book a Picnic Experience. After we work together to fine tune all the details to make your FLX Pop-Up Picnics experience special, you will be sent an invoice and contract. A non-refundable deposit of 50% of your picnic package is due within the first 48 hours of the returned invoice and contract, and the remainder is due 14 days before your booked picnic experience. FLX Pop-Up Picnics reserves the right to secure the non-refundable deposit if the event is cancelled, or the remainder is not fully paid the required 14 days before the event.

How do I pay for my FLX Pop-Up Picnic?


We prefer payments to be made through Venmo. Cash or checks are also accepted as advanced payments. FLX Pop-Up Picnics requires a 50% non-refundable deposit at the time of booking to reserve the date and time of your event. Your Picnic must be paid in full, 14 days prior to your event date. FLX Pop-Up Picnics reserves the right to cancel your event if payment in full is not received 14 days before your event date, and secure the non-refundable deposit.
 
What is your cancellation policy?


We ask for a 50% non-refundable deposit at the time of booking to reserve the date and time of your FLX Pop-Up Picnic. If you need to change the date of your scheduled event, we will allow one reschedule request. All requests to reschedule must be made in writing at least 72 hours before your scheduled event. Your rescheduled FLX Pop-Up Picnic must be fulfilled within three months of your original date and cannot carry over into the next calendar year.

What safety measures does FLX Pop-Up Picnics take to reduce the spread of Covid19 and other illnesses?


Your safety is our number one priority. The entire team at FLX Pop-Up Picnics is fully vaccinated and boosted against Covid19. Masks are worn during setup and take down of your experience. All items are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, and there is a basket of cleaning supplies available for each Picnicker’s use, such as hand sanitizer, cleaning wipes, masks and other items to enhance the safety of their experience.

 

Can I leave early or stay later?

Absolutely! If you want to leave before your 2 hours is up, we ask that you call or text the number that sent your confirmation/picnic location. This ensures our items are not left unattended. You are responsible for any stolen/damaged items during your two-hour time window. If you are having so much fun and want to stay later, shoot us a text or call and make sure that we’re able to accommodate your request, Venmo the additional fees, and then we can arrange additional time.

 

What if I break or spill something?

Small spills like water or non-staining liquids will not incur a fee. However, if any surfaces are stained, you will be responsible for a cleaning fee. In the event of a broken or stolen item, a replacement fee will be imposed on the card used at the time of booking.
